Elasticity Boost Body Oil was developed to support skin as it stretches and adapts during pregnancy and postpartum. The formula is designed to help improve the appearance of existing stretch marks as well as supporting skin as it expands, using an evidence-first formulation approach. Rather than relying on long ingredient lists, we focused on a small group of ingredients that have been studied for their role in supporting skin elasticity, hydration, and overall skin comfort.
The formulation process began with reviewing dermatology and cosmetic science research on ingredients commonly used to support skin during periods of rapid stretching. From that research, we selected four key ingredients that work together to nourish and support the skin.
Rosehip Oil forms the base of the formula. Naturally rich in essential fatty acids, it helps condition and soften the skin while supporting overall hydration.
Centella Asiatica has been widely studied in dermatology for its role in supporting skin repair and elasticity, which is why it is often included in products designed to care for stretching skin.
Bakuchiol, a plant-derived antioxidant, helps support skin conditioning and resilience.
Bisabolol, known for its calming properties, helps support skin comfort and reduce the feeling of irritation that can occur as skin stretches.
Together, these ingredients create a lightweight body oil that absorbs easily and supports hydrated, comfortable skin throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
